Travel
My travels for academic and professional purposes have enriched my career. My international travel has taken me to the United Kingdom and Ireland, most recently in 2022 as a participant in The Attingham Summer School. In December 2018, I traveled to Ireland to conduct research and negotiate loans for the exhibit Cost of Revolution: The Life and Death of an Irish Soldier. Participating in experimental archaeology has been an important part of my domestic travels, particularly at Colonial Williamsburg where I learned about historic trades. My travels have helped me build a wide-ranging network of curators, librarians, archivists, and collections managers at some of the world's top cultural institutions.
